Search Party
What happens when a group of millennials sets out to find a missing person who they sort of knew during college? The most enjoyable and unpredictable amount of chaos! The final season of Search Party is out, and it’s the perfect ending to the comedic gem of a series, complete with a Jeff Goldblum cameo for the ages. Haven’t started watching the show? Yellowjackets
Equal parts psychological thriller and coming-of-age drama, Yellowjackets follows of a team of high-school soccer players who survive a plane crash somewhere in the remote north. Clearly inspired by William Golding’s Lord of the Flies, the show centers around a seemingly controlled environment that quickly evolves into a war mirroring the deep wilderness the girls have to traverse. Bonus: The series gifts us with the Christina Ricci comeback we didn’t realize we needed.
Ozark
The Byrde family is back, and they are still somehow in a ton of trouble. Now in its fourth season, Ozark continues to up the stakes with a more direct focus on Marty and Wendy freeing their business from the cartel. But we all know that’s not going to go as smoothly as they hope… (I’ve said this before: This is a spoiler-free space!) The entire series is available for streaming when you’re ready to dive into the seedy world of Missouri and meet undeniable icon Ruth.
Euphoria
Sam Levinson’s anxiety-inducing series is back with a new season, and so far it’s living up to the thrill of its award-winning debut. This season welcomes us back into the extreme world of Rue (played by the divine Zendaya) and her circle of peers as they navigate the growing pains of youth through a lens of hyperrealism that keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. A highlight so far? Seeing actress Sydney Sweeney’s talent shining brighter than ever, making her one to watch.
Yellowstone
After three solid seasons, Yellowstone is officially getting the recognition it deserves with its epic fourth season. The drama follows the alliances and the enemies that begin to form when the Dutton family’s ranch empire is put in jeopardy. Household name Kevin Costner delivers a spectacular performance as the patriarch of the powerful family, with actress Kelly Reilly by his side as daughter Beth, who makes a Western fashion statement every episode.
