Your new book Pacific Natural Everywhere really captures your mantra of finding joy and connection through the natural world around us. Can you share advice for embracing a more mindful way of living?
I think a more mindful way of living really starts with paying attention to the small, everyday moments. It doesn’t have to be anything complicated — just stepping outside for a few minutes in the morning, noticing the light in your home or taking the time to cook something simple can help you feel more grounded and present.
Another important shift is letting go of the idea that you need to escape somewhere far away to feel connected to nature. So much beauty exists right where you are. When you begin to slow down and notice those details, it naturally brings a sense of calm and joy into your daily life.
How does your current style and aesthetic reflect your personality and beliefs?
My aesthetic has always been a direct extension of how I want to feel — calm, considered and connected to something real. I’m drawn to natural materials, soft textures and things that have a sense of longevity. It’s less about following trends and more about surrounding yourself with things that feel authentic and lasting.
For anyone looking to achieve that, I’d say start by simplifying. Focus on pieces you truly love, bring in elements from nature and don’t be afraid of restraint. When your environment feels intentional and aligned with how you want to live, everything else tends to fall into place.
In what ways has your personal style evolved over the last year?
My style has become even more pared back and intentional. I’ve been leaning further into simplicity with fewer pieces, but ones that I really love and wear often. I’ve also been appreciating comfort, versatility and more color, choosing things that move easily between different parts of my day.
What are some of your must-do daily rituals or routines?
Mornings are sacred to me. I start with a water with Sarah Wragge Wellness Alkalize Greens in it, followed by a chai latte with almond milk and, if the day allows, riding horses before work and school drop-off. That time outside grounds me in a way nothing else does. At the end of the day, it’s dinner at the table with my family. Not every night is perfect, but that intention is always there, and it creates a kind of rhythm I really depend on.
How do you choose to recharge and refuel when you find the opportunity?
I really try to keep it simple. Time outdoors is always the most restorative for me, whether it’s a walk, riding my horse or just getting some fresh air. I also love slowing down at home, cooking a simple meal or spending uninterrupted time with my family.
What’s one trusty self-care hack that you live by?
Protect your mornings. Even 15 minutes of quiet before you look at your phone can change your mindset for your whole day. It’s the one thing I come back to no matter what else is going on.
Finally, any goals for the remainder of 2026?
I’m really focused on continuing to grow in a thoughtful, intentional way — both personally and with the brand. That means expanding our reach while staying true to the values that have always guided us: simplicity, quality and a strong connection to home and nature.
On a personal level, it’s about protecting time for family and staying grounded in the everyday moments. If I can continue to build something meaningful while still creating space for that balance, I’ll feel really good about where the year lands.
