The Minneapolis Institute of Art is excited to have reopened its doors and is ready to see you whenever you’re comfortable for a visit. All the galleries are open with all the recommended precautions in place. Remember Mia’s “No touching the art” signs and its friendly security guards? They’re still there, along with firm new protocols to keep visitors, staff and the collection safe. Being open at this time means adhering to guidelines endorsed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Agriculture, and the American Alliance of Museums.

The specific actions Mia has taken to protect museum visitors and staff are outlined below. Mia will carefully and continually monitor the efficacy of these guidelines in real time and make further adjustments as needed.
