The Westin Edina Galleria is thrilled to announce the return of its charming and immersive holiday wonderland, Winter Village. Beginning November 29, the hospitality destination will transform into a Swiss-inspired village complete with horse-drawn carriages, chalet-style dining, afternoon tea, live music and an endless flow of Champagne, brought to life by the exciting event’s newest partner, Moët Hennessy.
November 29–February 8
“Our partnership with Moët Hennessy gives us the opportunity to add some one-of-a-kind programming to the festivities, along with an added sense of luxury,” says Jennifer Blacker, vice president of sales, marketing and brands for Wischermann Partners, Westin Edina Galleria’s hospitality management company. Other major initiatives during this year’s cheerful festivities include five-course dinners with curated drink pairings hosted by Veuve Clicquot, Dom Pérignon and Château d’Esclans. Additionally, there will be a heated Chalet Dining experience celebrating a charming après lifestyle.
The Westin Edina Galleria’s transformation into an upscale Alpine escape will be anchored by a 15-foot fir tree surrounded by Adirondack chairs, benches and gondolas all outfitted with cashmere and faux-fur throws and pillows. Après at Prelude promises to be the ultimate way to winter this year. This experience will feature specials such as Flutes and Frites, which pairs Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Champagne and housemade fries with live music and gondola-style dining to turn up the weekend spirit.
On Sundays throughout December, Afternoon Tea will be elevated this year by Veuve Clicquot bubbles coupled with an assortment of traditional finger foods. Lobby pop-up shops, along with the horse-drawn carriage rides, are set to run the first three Wednesdays of December for those looking for unique local gifts this holiday season.
