The Twin Cities’ food scene has rightfully earned its acclaimed reputation as being a top U.S. destination by celebrating and uplifting Minnesota’s immigrant communities through its bountiful (and flavorful) roster of restaurants. In the unprecedented times we’re currently living through, these beloved cornerstones of culture and our daily lives are deeply relying on patron support to ensure their futures remain bright. To put it plainly, our restaurant community is suffering.
The Salt Cure Restaurant Recovery Fund is a collective founded by local Minnesotans with the clear mission to aid workers and owners during this impossible situation. Funded by the Minneapolis Foundation, Salt Cure is leading the way to preserve the heart of Minnesota’s food culture, serving those that serve us through donations and actively distributing trusted resources and funds to restaurants facing hardship.
Whether dining in, ordering takeout or through donations, here are some eateries to crucially consider supporting now.
