Rudolph generously gives the character a ton of gumption and heart, and it’s a joy to witness her blossom in this finding-yourself-along-the-way tale.

Just when you thought the true crime genre had officially run out of stories to tell, another series is here to suck you in. Hulu’s Candy is grippingly complex and officially reintroduces actress Jessica Biel to a new audience. The series tells the story of Candy Montgomery, a 1980s housewife who played everything by the books until the ongoing pressure to conform became too much to bear, leading her to act… with deadly results.
Irma Vep
Have you been wondering where the hell Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander has been? Welcome to the club. Great news: The powerhouse is back in the starring role of HBO’s newest series in collaboration with A24. She plays a movie star looking to expand her career by starring in a remake of the iconic French silent film Les Vampires.
