Since impulsively adopting a cat in 2018, I’ve been on a constant quest for thoughtfully designed cat furniture and products. The typical feline trees and litterboxes have never appealed to me since they are, well, ugly. Since championing good design is literally my job, I’ve made the commitment to invest in products that will not only make my cat’s life better but that will also positively contribute to the overall aesthetic of my home. Like any pet parent, I believe Moze (my cat) deserves the best.

As I was preparing for my recent move across the country, I realized that our new home didn’t have a logical spot for a standard litterbox. I decided to give the Rifiuti a try so that, wherever we chose to place it, it would remain an unnoticeable restroom for our pet. I also invested in some of the brand’s Really Great Cat Litter, a tofu-based product promising low dust and the option to flush for a clean home. I gave Moze plenty of time to adjust to the new environment before determining if these purchases were worth it, and I can tell you with complete confidence that they definitively were.
The litterbox fits perfectly in our space, and its midcentury vibe fits right in with everything else in our new home. It’s spacious on the inside so our feline roomie isn’t cramped or stressed while doing his business. It also worked out in such a way that his food and water now live on top of the box. With all his essentials in one place, Moze seems happier than ever.
