If you saw a fleet of Aston Martins, Bentleys, Lamborghinis and Maseratis taking over the stretch of road from Minneapolis to Birchwood, Wisconsin, the second weekend of May, you witnessed the first annual Artful Living / Morrie’s Luxury Auto Road Rally.
This wasn’t your typical road rally. A group of luxury-car enthusiasts revved up their engines Saturday morning and embarked on a weekend adventure to Stout’s Island Lodge. Guests drove four different autos throughout the weekend — two on the way there and two on the way back — to experience the features each has to offer.
Upon arrival at Stout’s Island, they enjoyed a welcome reception complete with signature cocktails, an island barbeque, and a bonfire with s’mores. Guests spent the evenings sitting by the fireplace and soaking in the picturesque views surrounding their private cabins. The stay was short but long enough to recharge and relax in the company of new friends and fast cars.
