Puustelli

There’s no doubt that Nordic is now. And there’s a hot new showroom in Uptown Minneapolis — with heritage to boot — to feed the need for Scandi style: Puustelli.

In 2016, the century-old kitchen and home-design company made its mark on the North American market at the Minneapolis Home and Garden Show, grabbing the attention of architects, builders and designers. And thanks to the confidence that comes with having a 33% market share in Finland and a hot new venture in Minnesota, the brains behind the brand are certain Scandi style will continue to thrive. “We are the future of kitchen systems,” says Anna Juola.

Certain considerations are a matter of course: ecofriendly materials, clean lines, superior performance, no detail left unconsidered. “People have been waiting for something like us,” she asserts. “It’s a very modern design with ecological features, so it’s a product you can really feel good about.”

The showroom demonstrates the depth of the lines and offers sleek design solutions for living spaces, offices, bathrooms and, of course, kitchens. Puustelli project managers and designers can support DIYers looking for guidance, work with architects and builders, or handle the full demo, design and installation. “The flexibility of how we work is really important,” Juola says. “We’re a leader in Finland, and our hope is that we’ll become one here as well.”
