Artful Living | Why Las Vegas’ Wynn and Encore are Always Winning Bets

Whether you’re there to take in a show, enjoy the renowned nightlife or try your luck at poker, Las Vegas is always a great time. There’s one resort and casino complex along Sin City’s scintillating strip that stands alone as the poshest place in town: Wynn and Encore. At these connected sister properties, discerning globetrotters will enjoy luxurious accommodations, unmatched epicurean delights, over-the-top entertainment, exquisite shopping and world-class wellness experiences.

The brand’s tag line says it all: “There’s nothing in the world like Las Vegas — and there’s absolutely nothing in Las Vegas like Wynn.” Within the resort, there’s nothing like the Encore Tower Suites, which is why the upscale offering has earned a coveted Forbes Five-Star award. Here, guests can avoid the hustle and bustle of the casino floor thanks to a private lobby with a secluded driveway as well as dedicated concierge service. That means you get access to all the Wynn and Encore amenities but can return to this quiet retreat each evening for some welcome rejuvenation. In Las Vegas, that’s a win-win.

The spacious suites are sleek yet stylish, with separate living rooms and work areas. All guest quarters boast pillow-top Wynn Dream Beds, Italian marble baths, floor-to-ceiling windows and state-of-the-art technology. Our pick? It’s a tossup between the Encore Tower Suite Parlor, with its private massage space for in-room spa services, and the Encore Tower Suite Salon, which was simply made for entertaining. (But really, there’s no going wrong here.)

The cuisine is incredible, making Wynn and Encore’s eateries are some of the hottest reservations in town. Among the standouts? SW Steakhouse serves up premium steaks and chops — including some of the finest Japanese wagyu you’ll ever savor — as well as front-row seats to the late-night Lake of Dreams show. Tableau dishes out the best brunch in town in an elegant yet eclectic space with pool and garden views. And Wing Lei earned honors as the first Chinese restaurant in North America to earn a Michelin star thanks to specialties like tableside-carved Imperial Peking duck and wok-fried Maine lobster.

Sure, Vegas has been dubbed Sin City for a reason, but Wynn and Encore guests can renew, replenish and reenergize thanks to the Wynn Living Well program. You have access to the sister resorts’ full range of pools (including the uber exclusive Tower Suites pool) as well as both of the must-book spas. For every indulgent action you take — say, a late night out and one too many cocktails — there is an equal and opposite rejuvenation reaction waiting for you — think relaxing CBD massages, vitamin IV drip therapies and personal training sessions with a TB12 body coach.

But of course, you’re in Vegas to be entertained. To which we can confidently say there’s nothing in town quite like the revamped “Awakening“ show, which reopened this summer. Aerialists meet acrobatics meet oversize creatures on this epic adventure set on a 60-foot, 360-degree stage with narration by the one and only Anthony Hopkins. Much like the rest of your five-star stay at Wynn and Encore, you’re in for a rare treat that’ll have you recalling memories for years to come.
