The property features just 29 guest accommodations aptly dubbed sanctuaries. No two are alike, and unique glass colors identify each suite. The culinary offerings are centered around “Jade cuisine” — modern Caribbean fare featuring local fruits, vegetables, greens, nuts, spices and herbs sourced from the estate’s organic farm. An array of restaurant options are available, from Jade Mountain Club to the eateries of Anse Chastanet, including Treehouse, Trou au Diable, Jungle Beach Grill and Emerald’s, which serves exclusively vegetarian and vegan fare.
Onsite amenities include the Kai en Ciel spa, free daily yoga, bike rentals, a library and a superb upscale boutique for shopping. One activity not to miss is the Emerald Estate chocolate tasting experience, featuring handcrafted sweets made from organic cocoa beans grown on the property.
Anse Chastanet beach, just a short stroll down the hill, is a sugar-like sand beach with lounge chairs and tended waterfront service. The offshore waters are part of the marine reserve and are great for swimming and snorkeling. Kayaks, sailboats and paddleboards are all available at the watersports center.
