Trend you love: White kitchens are “in” but have never been “out.” Also, wire brushing wood floors before finishing is an Old World trend we like that has become more available in the marketplace.
Trend you’re over: We encourage homeowners not to buy into trends we know will soon have faded, like barn doors or too much industrial lighting. Too many trends combined will date the project quickly.
A classic that will never go out of style: Blending — modern and traditional, multiple metals, white woodwork, and architectural molding elements.
How homeowners can help: We encourage our clients to ask questions and make notes on the whiteboard we put up in the house as a communication center, along with phoning, emailing or texting.
