Earlier this month, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and the team behind the city’s most exciting new residential development, ELEVEN, officially broke ground for the construction of this 41-story luxury condominium building. Located at a premier address in the Mill District, ELEVEN is the first residential project in the Twin Cities to be designed by prestigious New York City–based firm Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA). Bringing this monumental building to life are project sponsors Luigi Bernardi of Arcadia and co-developer Ryan Companies, which is also serving as builder and is partnering with RAMSA with regard to architecture. Other leading figures in attendance at the groundbreaking included Ryan Companies CEO Brian Murray as well as Director of Real Estate Development Carl Runck, Arcadia CFO Dave Weinberger, Ryan Companies President of North Region Mike Ryan, and RAMSA architect and partner Paul Whalen.

ELEVEN will host four units per floor starting at the base of the structure, transitioning to two units upon ascension then finally single-unit floors toward the peak. Each of these high-end homes will boast a large private terrace as well as access to the building’s luxe amenities, including a 75-foot lap pool, a private motor court, an expansive fitness suite, a multi-sport court, a golf simulator, a library, a children’s splash pad, a demonstration kitchen, an around-the-clock doorman, residential and guest parking, storage, retail space, and more.

John Wanniger, Kevin Mullen and Ben Ganje from WMG Partners at Sotheby’s International Realty are the listing brokers for the project with Martha Dayton Design, Streeter & Associates, Peterssen/Keller Architects, John Kraemer & Sons, and Martin Patrick 3 as the premier interior design and building partners.

Officially under construction, ELEVEN is undoubtedly reinventing downtown Minneapolis living. Its presence has already garnered the national attention it deserves, drawing eyes to one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country. It’s not just part of the luxury boom the city is experiencing — it’s leading the way.
