The start of my daily routine includes a lot of liquid consumption, at least five or six beverages on a good day. This might sound excessive, but it truly sets the tone for a healthy and productive day. The most important (and my favorite) liquid I make every morning is a nutritious smoothie. Here are 4 easy smoothie recipes to start your day right.
Wild Blueberry and Chia Seed
1 cup coconut water
1½ cups frozen blueberries
1 Tbsp. chia seeds
1 pitted date
1 tsp. lime juice
pinch pink Himalayan salt
Matcha Avocado
1 cup oat milk
1 frozen banana
½ avocado
2 tsp. matcha powder
Vitamin C Smoothie
½ cup almond milk
1 cup frozen mango
½ cup spinach
1 large orange
½ banana
Almond Butter and Banana
1 cup almond milk
¼ cup almond butter
1 frozen banana
1 pitted date
pinch cinnamon
Make this for dessert by adding ½ Tbsp. organic cacao powder.
