With hot summer days finally here, the lakes are calling to us. Now is the time to invest in a new watercraft. Much like car shopping, finding the perfect boat that checks all the right boxes can be overwhelming given the magnitude of brands, styles and options available. But there’s one manufacturer that can always be counted on: Chris-Craft. This American company has been crafting some of the finest boats to hit the water since 1874.

Chris-Craft has stayed true to two ideals since day one: dedication and passion. All of the brand’s models exude excellence with beautiful design, premium materials and attention to detail. The Chris-Craft Corsair, in particular, exemplifies the optimal combination of luxury, functionality and practicality. Available in 27-, 30- and 34-foot options, the boat can be customized to suit every owner’s specific needs with a variety of engine types. Plus the hull, stripes, cockpit seats and stitching colors can also be tailored to individual preferences.

The three variations of the Corsair are fairly similar, but the 34-foot is the standout with the most space and features. The Corsair 34 can comfortably accommodate 12 passengers onboard. The cabin in the front hull boasts a kitchenette, bathroom,  and comfortable V-shaped bench seat and table. The ceiling has large panoramic windows that let in plenty of natural sunlight to combat any claustrophobia, while the kitchenette includes a sink, microwave, stovetop and pullout refrigerator.

The top deck offers a large U-shaped bench seat with an extra wide and comfortable captain’s chair, making long days out on the water less strenuous. Plus the rear cushion can be removed to reveal a dining table that pivots out, allowing passengers to wine and dine onboard. Between the main cabin and the teakwood swimming deck platform at the rear, there is an expansive sunbathing pad for those wanting to soak up some rays.

With abundant space, comfortable seating and top-of-the-line amenities galore, the Chris-Craft Corsair makes for an excellent vessel for a weekend family excursion. All the first-class features onboard mean fewer stops at the docks and more time out on the water where memories are made.
