Complementing Ahmed’s multi-course dinner will be a captivating gallery of photos by photographer Matt Lien in partnership with Pro DPI, which offer an intimate look at the chef’s recent travels to her birth country. Inspired by stunning landscapes, lively markets and rich cultural tapestry, guests will be transported to the serene beauty and vibrant culture of Laos.

Other can’t-miss highlights of the evening include a cocktail hour where guests will have the chance to view the gallery, mingle with Ahmed and celebrate Artful Living’s spring issue. Kate Nelson will discuss how the exclusive interview came to be, including personal anecdotes from Ahmed on how her childhood has shaped her into the esteemed James Beard nominated–chef she is today and influenced the genesis of her three restaurants: Gai Noi, Khâluna and Lat14 Eatery.
