Burnet Fine Art & Advisory is pleased to announce the reopening of its gallery with a new exhibition of watercolors by Joshua Huyser debuting Saturday, June 6.

Out of Sight is primarily about seeing,” says Huyser. “It is about the optical. It is about the interaction of light and material. It is about the interaction of pigment and paper. It is about being quiet and bearing witness to simple yet enigmatic visual moments. As the great songwriter Bill Callahan wrote, it is about riding for the feeling.”

Burnet Fine Art & Advisory is committed to providing a safe space for its staff and visitors. To that end, the gallery has developed the following preparedness plan in response to the coronavirus outbreak. As of Tuesday, June 2, Burnet Fine Art & Advisory will resume regular hours with limits to the number of visitors in the gallery as well as increased cleaning measures. Hand sanitizer will be available for visitors, and patrons are asked to wear masks and do their best to keep a distance of six feet from staff and fellow visitors.
