For the first time in two years, Bountifield International will once again host its annual gala event. This year’s soiree will celebrate 40 years of innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable food and will include a glamorous after party you won’t want to miss.

Bountifield International envisions an Africa free from hunger and poised to feed the world. The nonprofit creates opportunities across Africa for rural entrepreneurs with tools and services to efficiently process, save and sell more food. Farmers and small businesses increase their incomes, more jobs are created, and Africa feeds herself and the world.

“I see this work as part of a movement,” says Bountifield International CEO Alexandra Spieldoch. “I’m invested in agency and it taking off for the people we’re trying to serve. Access is a justice issue here, and it’s a justice issue abroad. We’re all trying to stabilize and get to a better future.”

This year’s 40th anniversary gala will take place on April 28 at Minneapolis’s Machine Shop and promises to be an inspiring and exciting evening filled with testimony, music, auctions and incredible eats crafted by Chowgirls in coordination with guest chef Rekik Abaineh of Bolé Ethiopian Cuisine. Tickets for the gala are now available for purchase for $150, including admittance to the After Party. For those interested in only attending the After Party, tickets are available for $50. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy an evening of spectacular live music and dance the night away for a good cause.
