The power of great design lives in every detail, big or small, working together to make a space work. And in the kitchen, every detail counts. Belle Kitchen is an award-winning design studio and showroom located in Minneapolis’ iconic International Market Square. While the firm’s specialty is kitchen design, Belle Kitchen offers design services for the entire home, taking inspiration from every client’s vision and carefully blending expert creativity with industry knowledge.
“Our mission is to design spaces that are not only unique and inventive, but also complement each client’s lifestyle,” details Lead Designer Kaitlyn Stokes. “We pride ourselves on creating trusting and lasting relationships with each client, as well as our industry partners.”
The firm works closely with product lines and brands that represent the highest quality and craftsmanship across the industry, including cabinetry by Leicht and Wood-Mode, appliances from Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove, Gaggenau and Miele, and other dynamic kitchen features sourced from The Galley and Zip Water. Other services offered by the firm include bathroom design and full-service interior design services like furniture and lighting procurement.
“We’re best known for our love of modern and contemporary design, but we also love seeing clients experiment with blending styles,” shares Stokes. “Our Rustic Elegance project is a great example of how we were able to blend the style of a classic, traditional kitchen with existing rustic elements.”
Collaboration is another major pillar of Belle Kitchen’s mission, and the team loves working with trade professionals of all kinds to craft spaces that can be lived in and cherished for a lifetime. “Our Elevated Organic and Prairie Pool House projects are great examples of our ethos in action with other partners,” shares Stokes. “We worked very closely with the homeowners and their designer, architect and builder to create a stunning home that showcases how simplistic yet elevated modern design can be.”
When prompted to share a piece of advice for someone looking to reassess the state of their current kitchen, Stokes keeps it simple and offers, “Take note of how you work in your kitchen space currently and what is and is not working for you, whether big or small. This helps any designer create the best space for you.” A sentiment that absolutely resonates in the realm of great design.
