The arrival of our autumn style issue called for celebration last month. To ring in the new season, we gathered at Diane’s Place, chef Diane Moua’s lovely Hmong American restaurant in Northeast Minneapolis. The eatery’s charming private outdoor event space was brought to life with colorful lounge furniture from Style Society and exquisite floral arrangements by Lilia Flower Boutique. Inside, guests marveled over delectable bites from the host kitchen, including a seafood platter, oysters, Hmong sausage bites, vegetable egg rolls and a dessert station that had a little something for everyone. Besides full bellies, attendees took home personalized makeup bags, custom portraits by Matthew D’Ascenzo and hot-off-the-press copies of our autumn edition. Thanks to our event partners Ketel One, Jaguar Land Rover, Mall of America and all of our esteemed guests, we will look back fondly on this soiree for years to come.
