“By taking everything down to the studs, we were able to completely reimagine the home’s style, adding eclectic bohemian elements while honoring its original charm and proportions,” shares Whitaker. The upper level’s once divided floor plan was opened up to create better flow and spatial proportions. Details like elegant arched transitions, restored millwork and refined finishes tie the ultimate design together.
Whitaker extended the same design philosophy to the outdoors, thoughtfully redesigning the home’s landscape to connect the architecture, garden and gathering spaces in a way that feels organic and enduring. “Every decision, from materials to finishes, was about creating warmth, texture and personality that feel both timeless and true to the home’s spirit,” concludes Whitaker.
