Fashionistas rejoice: Minneapolis menswear emporium Martin Patrick 3 is bringing Italian fashion house Brunello Cucinelli’s menswear and womenswear to Minneapolis on April 27–29. The North Loop store will have an entire room dedicated to the Italian fashion brand, showcasing the fall/winter 2018 collections.

For men, the looks are well-proportioned as always but with a slightly looser and slightly longer fit. Featured fabrics include alpaca, shearling and corduroy velvet in warm, tonal hues. For women, the looks are best described as eclectic chic, with folk-inspired knitwear and sporty silhouettes on full display. Cozy knits combining alpaca, cashmere, mohair and sequins are juxtaposed with tuxedo-inspired jumpsuits and embellished skirts. And of course all the apparel boasts Brunello Cucinelli’s signature craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Founded in 1978, the Italian fashion house has long considered itself a humanistic company. It’s guided by the principle that beauty generates value and prides itself on creating products featuring high craftsmanship, quality, creativity and exclusivity. The creative director and chief executive behind the eponymous brand sets the tone. “I dream about a form of humanistic modern capitalism with strong ancient roots, where profit is made without harm or offense to anyone,” he notes. “In my business, people are at the very center of every production process, because I am convinced that human dignity is restored solely through the rediscovery of the conscience. I don’t think there can be any quality without humanity.”

Locally, unparalleled menswear destination Martin Patrick 3 is a perfect fit for the esteemed brand. Fashion fiends best get themselves to the shop this weekend for the Brunello Cucinelli trunk show.
