Brie, one of the Artful Living office dogs, is a 9-month-old French Bulldog. And she has quite the opinion when it comes to her favorite places to play, eat and shop. Here’s Brie’s point of view on a few of her favorite Twin Cities spots.
There’s no place I’d rather be! If you haven’t heard of the Woofington, you’re missing out. It’s a luxury dog resort and spa in Wayzata that is exclusive to dogs 25 pounds and under. I have a ton of Frenchie friends there, and we all just jump and run all day. My best friends are Vail, Aspen, Myrtle and Delilah. They call us the Frenchie sorority. The people there love to give us belly rubs and play with us in the puppy pools. They even have bacon-flavored bubbles that we chase around. My mom loves the Woofington because I am so tired after daycare. Sometimes I need a whole day to recover from the fun. They have streaming video of the indoor and outdoor play areas so my mom can check in on me and watch the silly things us pups are doing. My personal favorite? The ball pit.
My mom loves Starbucks, and I fully support her habit. I always encourage her to go to the drive-through because when they see me sitting in my doggie seat belt in the front seat, the barista brings me something called a pup cup. It’s basically the most delicious thing in the world. I get so messy eating it, but it’s oh so worth it.
I’m a lucky Frenchie because my mom loves to spoil me! We live close to the Chuck & Don’s store in Edina, so we walk there a lot. It’s probably my favorite store. There are so many good smells! The people there love to give me treats (with my mom’s approval), and I like to peruse the row of treat bins. (Tip for my fellow dogs reading this: Lick or start eating a treat. This will force your people to buy it for you!)
Stay tuned for Piper’s Twin Cities next month.
