Beginning April 7, Mall of America will reopen its North Atrium to host four days of American Red Cross blood drives. The coronavirus outbreak has caused cancellations of thousands of blood drives across the country, leading the Red Cross to reach out to partners and locations with enough space to host new ones. The North Atrium at MOA is large enough for all involved to safely practice social distancing, including staff, volunteers and donors. Appointments are both necessary and greatly appreciated and can be made at redcrossblood.org or through the free Red Cross Blood Donor App using sponsor code “MOA.”
